Ten Little N—— – Agatha Christie

Ten Little Niggers. Written by Agatha Christie. Original true First Edition with copyright 1939 by Collins under their The Crime Club Detective series. The repellent, racist title was taken from a minstrel song and for the American version released in 1940 was re-titled And Then There Were None from the last five words of the song. The dust jacket illustrated by Stephen Bellman, is original but has been exceptionally well restored to address paper loss at top and bottom of entire width of jacket. Bright orange cloth boards in excellent condition, the printing exceptionally bold, small amount of toning and light spotting on edges. Considered to be Christie’s finest work, the world’s best-selling mystery.
