Brown variant cloth boards (variant B), gilt lettering. First Edition. A collection of his stories. Published simultaneously by his friend, E. L. G. Steele, in the U.S., and Andrew Chatto paid fifty pounds to acquire the rights to an English edition to be published under the title, “In the Midst of Life”. (Grenander 58; BAL 1109-1110.) Very Good.
