Description

First Edition. Compiled and edited by Jan I. Fortune. As told by Emma Parker (Bonnie’s mother) and Nell Barrow (Clyde’s sister). Original dust jacket unclipped, chipping at edges, loss at head, few abrasions, layer of paper removed from front flap at price (apparent previous sticker removal). Orange cloth covered boards, black lettering, biopredation loss of cloth at majority of top edge of boards. Internally clean and bright, hinges sound and sturdy. “Intimate stories of the Southwest desperado and his sweetheart, pounding in the moral that crime doesn’t pay. Very interesting as Americana.” (Washington Post, Sept. 14, 1934.) Very Good. Uncommon in commerce.
